The KL-100 short-wave vehicle-mounted antenna reflector is a supporting component of the vehicle-mounted short-wave antenna feeder system. The vehicle-mounted short-wave antenna feeder system mainly solves the "blind area" problem in short-wave communication within 30Km ~ 80km, and meets the communication requirements of stable and reliable short-wave "mobile communication" and "mountain communication" within 0~600km. The mobile communication performance of the communication vehicle is greatly improved.
The vehicle-borne short-wave antenna feeder system is developed based on the theory of electromagnetic wave near vertical transmission (NVIS), which uses the high elevation angle radiation electromagnetic wave near the vertical angle, and forms a uniform electromagnetic wave coverage in a certain area of the ground after being refracted back to the ground through the ionosphere. Its propagation has the characteristics of uniform coverage, stable signal and little influence by geographical and geomorphological factors.
