ALE (Self-applied) Function: This function selects high quality signals for communication by automatically detecting the frequency spread and its strength.
Call Selection function provides 4-bit/6-bit open call selection and 4-bit/6-bit Icom call selection for CCIR493 reference.
BITE (Built-in Test Equipment) Function: You can check the internal status of the transceiver by using the BITE function. Checks Auto, Logic, Receiver and Transmitter.
CLEAR CALL FUNCTION AND SILENCE FUNCTION: This feature automatically reduces noise and eliminates the sound of touching keys. The squelch function turns on squelch only when a call is made, while the standby state of this station is muted when another station is on a call.
Digital Signal Processor (DSP): The DSP enables flexible filter width settings of wide, medium and narrow.
GPS Receiver Connection: When connected to an external GPS receiver, it can transmit your exact position information to other stations and display moving position information, time, altitude, and title with GPS symbols on the display.
Data Communications: The internal expansion slot allows for an optional RapidM TC4 shortwave data modem module. This provides a HF e-mail function when a PC is connected. -
